Adults
& children 12 years and over: 5 to 15mL, every 4 to 6 hours when
necessary
Children 6 to 12 years: 2.5 to 7.5mL every 4 to 6 hours when necessary
Children 2 to 6 years: 1.25-3.75 mL every 4 to 6 hours when necessary. If your child needs a 3.75 mL dose, give 2.5 mL first immediately followed by 1.25 mL. These doses together equal 3.75 mL. Before dosing your child, refer to enclosed leaflet for further instructions

The number of standard doses taken in a 24 hour period should not exceed 4 doses. If the cough persists for longer than 1 week seek medical advice.
