Yoga is a gentle form of relaxation and exercise that not only tones the body and makes it more flexible, but also promotes a feeling of general well being. What's more you can be any age, size, shape or physical condition to start, and unlike more energetic forms of exercise, there is little risk of physical strain. All you need to begin is either a loose tracksuit or leggings. Your local library will have plenty of books on the subject as well as details for classes if you wish to progress further.
